BY PLANE:
Darien, CT is a beautiful little town located just 35 miles north of New York City.
The closest airports are John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York City, LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in New York City or Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in Newark, NJ. All are equally convenient.
Once you land, we suggest you either rent or hire a car to drive you to CT. The trip should take about an hour from any of the above airports.
BY TRAIN:
From Washington, DC the Acela Amtrak train to Samford, CT takes about four hours and is very comfortable.
From New York City, MetroNorth commuter trains take about 50 minutes and run frequently from Grand Central Terminal to the Darien, CT train station. Click here for the train schedules.
BY CAR:
Driving directions to the ceremony to take places at 4 PM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 1864 Post Road, Darien, CT 06820, United States
South Bound I-95:Exit 11 – Left on the Post Road. At fifth traffic light, turn left onto Ring’s End Road. The second driveway on the left is the parking area.
North Bound I-95:Exit 10 – Right onto Noroton Avenue. At the end of Noroton Avenue, turn left onto the Post Road. At the next light, turn right onto Ring’s End Road. The second driveway on the left is the parking area.
Merritt Parkway (North or South):Exit 37 (Route 124 Darien / New Canaan) – Turn right onto Route 124. Stay on this road until you reach the Post Road. Turn Right onto the Post Road. At the tenth traffic light, turn left onto Ring’s End Road. The second driveway on the left is the parking area.
HOTELS:
We have reserved a block of rooms at two different hotels located within walking distance of each other. Both hotels are located about 20 minutes driving from the ceremony and the reception.
